This agreement applies to any member who applies for or holds a Specialist role.
You confirm that
- You hold a current, valid licence or credential to practise in the jurisdiction you named,
and the documents you upload are genuine and yours.
- You will tell us within 7 days if your licence lapses, is suspended, or is subject to a
disciplinary process.
- You carry whatever professional indemnity insurance your regulator requires.
- You will practise only within your competence and scope, and will refer on when a person's
needs fall outside it.
You agree to
- Follow the ethical code of your own professional body — it takes precedence over anything
here if the two ever conflict.
- Make clear to every member what you can and cannot offer through this platform.
- Follow your jurisdiction's rules on confidentiality, record keeping, and mandatory reporting.
- Respond to crisis disclosures according to your professional obligations, and never rely on
Soulio's automated detection as your safety mechanism.
- Never form a romantic, sexual, or financial relationship with a member you support.
Relationship between us
You are an independent practitioner, not an employee, agent, or contractor of Soulio. Soulio does
not supervise your clinical work, does not direct your practice, and is not a party to any
therapeutic relationship you form. You are solely responsible for the care you provide.
We may suspend or remove your Specialist status at any time — including while an issue is being
investigated.
